Comedy for young people

Confidence, connection and a proper laugh.

Our comedy workshops give young people a safe, supported way to express themselves, make friends and discover they can do far more than they thought.

Why comedy

Some things are easier to say through a laugh

Not every young person opens up through serious conversation. Through creativity and play, they often can. Our workshops use carefully designed games and comedy activities to help young people relax, feel safe and have fun, and from there, real confidence grows.

Everyone takes part at their own pace. We never put anyone on the spot; we encourage gently and let each young person go as far as they are comfortable. For some, that ends with getting up and doing a bit of stand-up. For everyone, it means finding out how good it feels to make others laugh.

What it helps with

Built around wellbeing

Confidence building

Getting out of their comfort zone in a safe, supported way, and realising they can.

New friendships

Laughing together is one of the fastest ways for a group to bond and include everyone.

Self-expression

A creative outlet to explore what is great about themselves, without the pressure of “serious talking”.

Emotional wellbeing

For groups who are struggling, a genuinely uplifting experience that lifts the whole room.

Who we work with

For schools and youth groups

We are experienced working with young people, are friendly and patient, and adapt every workshop to the needs of the group in front of us.

“Keeping our young people actively engaged is never an easy task, but Mark and his colleagues have delivered on this tenfold. Entertaining, funny and above all the nicest of people to work with.” Enrichment Co-ordinator, Warwickshire Virtual School

Good to know

Common questions

Will young people be forced to perform?

Never. Everyone joins in at their own pace. We encourage gently and let each young person take part only as much as they want to. Some choose to try stand-up; many do not, and that is completely fine.

Is it suitable for groups who are struggling?

Yes. Many of our workshops are with groups working on confidence and wellbeing. We adapt the session to the needs of the group and keep it safe, supportive and fun.

How many sessions do you run?

It can be a single workshop or a series, depending on your goals. Over several sessions, some young people build up to performing, but every session is valuable on its own.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Warwickshire and work with schools and youth groups across the UK, including the Midlands and beyond.
