Public speaking training

Speak like the room is on your side.

Comedians hold a room, handle nerves and land a point for a living. We teach your people the same skills, so they can present, pitch and speak with real confidence, in the room and on camera.

The idea

Nobody knows a tough room like a comedian

Most public speaking training teaches you what to do with your slides. We teach you what to do with the room. Standing up in front of people, holding their attention, staying calm when it wobbles and delivering a line so it lands: these are exactly the skills stand-up comedians live and die by.

We are comedians, and we have learned these skills the hard way, on real stages in front of real crowds. In a supportive, low-pressure setting, we pass them on to your team. If you would rather book a professional than learn the craft, we also supply comedians for corporate events, and our guide to choosing the right comedian explains what separates a good booking from an awkward one.

What you learn

The skills that actually move a room

Reading a room

Notice what your audience is doing and adjust in the moment, instead of ploughing on.

Handling nerves

Practical ways to steady yourself so nerves become energy rather than a wobble.

Landing your point

Timing, pauses and delivery so your key message lands and sticks.

Being yourself

Speaking as you, warmly and naturally, rather than a stiff “presentation” version of you.

Being comfortable on camera

Talking to a lens with no audience to react is its own skill. We help you feel natural on video calls, recorded talks and pieces to camera.

Who it is for

Great for anyone who has to stand up and speak

“We had such brilliant feedback on the comedy. It is definitely our best keynote to date by a country mile!” Director, V Formation Ltd

Client story

“I've managed to merge the two”

Michaela came to us with a professional self and a playful self, and kept them well apart. Here she is, on camera, a few minutes after the training.

Common questions

Do I need to be funny to benefit?

Not at all. This is not about telling jokes. It is about confidence, presence and connecting with an audience, skills that help every kind of speaker.

Is it one-to-one or group training?

Both work. We run sessions for individuals and for teams, and shape the content around who is in the room and what they need.

Will people have to perform in front of everyone?

It is a supportive, low-pressure setting. People practise at a level they are comfortable with, and are encouraged rather than put on the spot.

Can you help with speaking on camera?

Yes. Video calls, webinars and recorded talks are their own challenge, because the audience gives you nothing back. We cover how to stay warm and natural to a lens, where to look, and how to keep your energy up without an audience to feed off.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Warwickshire and deliver training across the UK, including the Midlands and London. We also deliver training overseas, so if your team is abroad, just ask.
